I am currently writing articles that reflect my coaching perspectives.  They are slow coming, but as I complete them, I will post them for your reflection. Hopefully the information presented will be of some help in coaching diving.  Coaching is a complicated interplay of many skills.  It demands knowledge drawing from many subject areas.  The truly masterful coach needs to know not only how to do something, but why it is correct to do it that way.  I believe in order to constantly improve our athletes and our sport, we need to constantly improve ourselves as coaches.  In order to improve ourselves as coaches, we must constantly ask the question:  "Why do we teach it that way?"   Please feel free to email me (coachjoe@fishersdiving.com) with questions, comments or concerns.  You can also email me regarding a topic about which you would like to see an article!  Thanks.
